During the hottest week of the year, Jimin only wanted air conditioning, but Jungkook was about to offer him something far more tempting.
In this soft and flirty Jikook romance story, Jimin is trying to survive a brutal heatwave while running his elegant little flower shop, Serendipity Blooms. With broken fridges, wilting flowers, and one elderly fan doing his very best, the last thing Jimin needs is Jeon Jungkook appearing from the café next door with iced tea, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and entirely too much quiet attention.
Everyone in town already thinks they are together.
Maybe this time, Jimin and Jungkook will finally stop pretending they are not.
A cosy, romantic Jikook story full of florist Jimin, café owner Jungkook, soft flirting, heatwave tension, neighbourly care, rain, strawberries, and a tender friends-to-lovers confession.

Such a heart-melting story. Soft and comforting, yes, but also magical and lived-in at the same time.
Endearing humour in there, too.
What has stood out that is not widely recognized, though, is that joking and even flirting could be used as a defence against deeper, more vulnerable feelings. Because ‘It was a dangerous thing, being known by someone who paid attention’. It would leave fewer places to hide emotionally.
The romantic unravelling was so beautiful and what struck closer to home was Jimin’s realization he didn’t need to continue doing it alone. Being wrapped up in the everyday, we can easily forget that.
Finally, as serendipity would have it, heavy rain outside literally started as I was watching the last scenes (where it started to rain also) of the premiere video.
Serendipity blooms, indeed.
I just loved it, with Jimin fighting the heat and Jungkook being so helpful and loving. I loved the way Jimin was so dramatc. Yelling at his flowers and basically wilting away himself.
