Endearing humour in there, too.
What has stood out that is not widely recognized, though, is that joking and even flirting could be used as a defence against deeper, more vulnerable feelings. Because ‘It was a dangerous thing, being known by someone who paid attention’. It would leave fewer places to hide emotionally.
The romantic unravelling was so beautiful and what struck closer to home was Jimin’s realization he didn’t need to continue doing it alone. Being wrapped up in the everyday, we can easily forget that.
Finally, as serendipity would have it, heavy rain outside literally started as I was watching the last scenes (where it started to rain also) of the premiere video.
Serendipity blooms, indeed.
