Jungkook is tired of hiding. Forget money and fame, all he wants is the freedom to be himself - and to let everyone know how much he and Jimin are in love.
Living the Lie is a raw, emotional JiKook slice of life oneshot. It's a canon inspire story set in early 2020.

A story from Jungkooks view on how he sees the situation that Jimin and he are in. Especially his frustration on not having private time, being able to tell the world about his love or the fact of being stuck into clothes that are just simply not him making him feel silly and uncomfortable. You get a good perspective on what is going on in his wonderful brain.
I love this story, in my opinion it is one of CJ’s best.
Life is rarely neat, clean and organised. More often things are messy and complicated. The realness of life is described so well with a hint of clever sarcasm. You can feel Jungkook’s frustration. Is the glamorous life of an Idol really all it seems from the outside?
