Very fond of this story, so warm-hearted.
I only hope it doesn’t get side-lined because “nothing is happening.”
I’ve realised that precisely the times without the usual rush and busyness are the times where the depth of the connection shines. When there’s nothing to do per se, only to be that resonant ‘we’ of the relationship, invisible, but yet palpable.
It brings forth what I’d call the relationship’s ‘autonomy’ ie the mysterious thread that keeps two people together but also unravels the interactions in its own uniquely loving way.
Gently leading them forward with a sense of wonder in its trail.
It’s a joyful read.
